Q: When should I have an eye exam?

A: Eye exams are recommended yearly. Patients with various medical conditions may need to be seen more frequently.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: We currently accept and will bill the following insurance carriers for services provided in office: Aetna, Anthem, Avesis, Caresource, Cigna, Eyemed, March Vision Care, Molina, Medical Mutual, Metlife, NVA, Tricare, United Health Care, VBA, Vision Direct, Vision Plus and Vision Service Plan (VSP). We will gladly provide you with a detailed invoice for submission of any out of network insurance plan you may have.

Q: What forms of payment does your website accept and is my information secure?

A: We accept American Express, Discover, Visa and Mastercard for orders placed on our web site. Each transaction is handled through our secure 128-bit encrypted server.

Q: What is the deliver time for my lenses?

A: In stock orders placed before 3pm EST Monday-Friday will ship same day. We offer several different delivery options to best suit your needs.

Q: How long can you store a contact lens after it has been removed from its package?

A: This varies according to the cleaning and disinfection routine that you use before storing the lens. For specific details consult the package insert of your lens care system.

Q: How often should contact lenses be changed?

A: The recommended life of contact lenses varies depending on the type of lenses, from 1-day, 2-weeks, 1-month, and 1 year (for RGP contacts). With any contact lens, you should follow the prescribed wear and care instructions from your eye doctor.
